HP ProLiant BL20p G3 X3.4 GHz 2 MB, 1 GB (1P) The ProLiant BL20p G3 is an Intel-based performance dual-processor server blade engineered for the enterprise. The BL20p G3 now supports the new Dual-Core Intel® Xeon processor up to 2.8GHz with 4MB (2x2MB) L2 cache. The BL20p G3 has SAN storage capability, supports up to 8GB of PC 3200 DDR2 memory and has four gigabit NICs standard. The ProLiant BL20p G3 shares the same infrastructure components as the BL20p G2, BL30p, and BL40p (Note: Some models may require the BL p-class server blade enclosure with enhanced backplane components).
HP Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) advanced functionality ships standard on every ProLiant BL p-Class server blade. iLO, coupled with other solutions such as ProLiant Essentials Rapid Deployment Pack, which aids with server blade deployment, is designed to help customers more easily manage their server environment, while helping to reduce TCO. The ProLiant BL20p G3 also delivers optional Fibre Channel support for SAN (Storage Area Network) implementations and clustering capabilities.
