The switch supports XP/ServiceGuard and Microsoft Cluster Server for use in mission-critical environments, can be cascaded at distances up to 10 kilometers for disaster recovery and supports HP's Fibre Channel-SCSI bridge to bring legacy SCSI devices into a SAN.
